University of Bristol Doctoral Dissertation Prize 2021: Dr Sebastian Gnann
We are proud to announce that Bristol WISE CDT graduate Dr Sebastian Gnann has been awarded a 2021 Doctoral Dissertation Prize.
The University of Bristol’s Research Degrees Examination Board awards an annual prize for outstanding excellence within each faculty. This year’s six winners were picked from a pool of 510 submissions, with Sebastian winning the Faculty of Engineering prize.
Sebastian’s PhD thesis is entitled ‘Baseflow generation at the catchment scale – An investigation using comparative hydrology’. His supervisors were Professor Nicholas Howden and Dr Ross Woods. Sebastian is now a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Potsdam in Germany.
