Work Experience
In the summer of 2015 she worked at the Ordnance Survey headquarters in Southampton as their products intern. This role involved testing new open data and assessing its usability for the general public. Within this role she used a variety of different programs such as QGIS, PgRouting and PgAdmin and scripting using C+ and Javascript. By the end of the internship she had designed a set of usability test scripts to be used on the general public when a new GIS product has been developed and this has been rolled out to the Team. In her time at Ordnance Survey she was able to see the full life-cycle of commercial software delivery.
