Sabrina is currently based in Canada and is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the University of British Columbia’s Civil Engineering Department, working on sustainable water engineering for flood risk prevention and water loss. Immediately following her PhD, Sabrina had worked for Dŵr Cymru-Welsh Water – her project industry partner – as a Water Data Scientist/Engineer.
During her time on the WISE CDT PhD Programme Sabrina was based at the University of Exeter. She successfully defended her viva on “Optimised Maintenance Scheduling for Wastewater Systems” in February 2022. Sabrina had previously obtained a BSc in Physical Geography at the University of Exeter, with her dissertation focusing on climate change effects on glacial lake outburst floods in the Himalayan mountain range.
