Viennese Trip for WISE Students

The European Geosciences Union General Assembly is held every spring in Vienna. Almost 15,000 researchers from over 100 countries attended to present their latest breakthroughs, learn what’s new in their field, and meet potential new research partners. Eight WISE CDT students and their supervisors attended in April 2017. Each student presented a poster outlining recent results. Rosie Lane, Wouter Knoben, Barney Dobson and post-doc Susana Almeida (left to right) took part in the trip. WISE CDT students Laurence Hawker, Stamatis Batelis, Paul Bayle, Alex Stubbs and Arthur Hajalli also presented their work at the conference.
