News: STREAM TSEL module

Monday to Wednesday, 20^th to 22^nd of April, the WISE and STREAM programmes were combined for a series of modules on personal skills. The three-day event was opened by professor Dragan Savic on the University of Exeter campus.

The modules dealt with a wide range of skills, going from a discussion about supervision skills, to Intellectual Property rights, to public engagement and use of social media. Every module consisted of a theoretical part and an opportunity for a more practical exercise with the subject at hand. Practice of useful skills such as negotiation techniques and creating business plans allowed interaction between the two post-graduate programmes.
